SQUADRON
715 Mohawk Squadron was formed in 1961 under the command of Flight Lieutenant A.E. “Bunny” Brown. Flt/Lt Brown served as a pilot during World War II, and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (DFC), one of the highest medals awarded by the Air Force.
Our Original sponsors were the Optimist Club and later the Optimist Club of Burlington. Our current sponsors are the Mohawk Air Cadet Sponsoring Committee who funds through Bingo and other fundraisers. Our Commanding Officer is Capt Denise Ohanian-May.
