March Break Information

715 Air Cadets are invited to our March Break Day Trips. Each day we will visit different locations with all transportation and meals covered by the squadron. Cadets will not be provided spending money for shopping, souvenirs or extra food outside of provided meals. There is a limit of 44 cadets per day due to transportation limits and therefore spots are on a first come first serve basis.

Where: Meet at Burlington Legion each day for bus

When: March 9-11

Dress: Appropriate civilian attire

Cost: $20 per day (plus spending money if cadets wish to purchase souvenirs). Cadets who sign up for all three days will get a discounted price of $50. Payment Due Feb 26th.

The Itineraries for each Day are listed below (NOTE: All times and activities are subject to change - updated itineraries will be given out to cadets attending the trip closer to the date)

Day 1: Saturday - 9 March 2019: Hamilton

• 0815hrs – Arrive at the Burlington Legion

• 0830hrs – Depart Burlington Legion

• 0900hrs – Warplane Heritage Museum

• 1200hrs – Lunch

• 1300hrs – Depart for John Foote Armories

• 1330hrs – John Foote Armories: tour RHLI museum, Argyll Officers Mess, etc.

• 1530hrs – Walk to First Ontario Bank Stadium

• 1600hrs – Hockey Game: First Ontario Bank stadium

• 1830hrs – Depart for Burlington Legion

• 1900hrs – Dismissed from Burlington Legion (be aware that this is a flexible timing).

Day 2: Sunday – 10 March 2019: Kitchener / Burlington

• 0830hrs – Arrive at the Burlington Legion

• 0845hrs – Depart Burlington Legion

• 1000hrs – Chicopee Tube Park / Snacks will be provided. Cadets eat on their own time.

• 1315hrs – Depart Chicopee Tube Park

• 1430hrs – Lunch / Dinner (legion)

• 1625 hrs – Movie (Cineplex: 1250 Brant St, Burlington – Captain Marvel).

• 1845hrs – Dismissed from Cineplex: 1250 Brant St, Burlington

Day 3: Monday - 11 March 2019: Niagara Falls

• 0830hrs – Arrive at the Burlington Legion

• 0845hrs – Depart Burlington Legion

• 1000hrs – Butterfly Conservatory

• 1140hrs – Journey Behind the Falls

• 1230hrs - Niagara Fury

• 1330hrs – Cliffton Hill / Free Time / Lunch (subway bag lunch will be provided. Cadets eat on their own time).

• 1530hrs – Depart from Niagara Falls

• 1630hrs – Dismissed from Burlington Legion
